Greenwing dove (Chalcophaps indica)
Greenwing doves, which are also called Emerald doves, are endemic to India. Greenwing doves were some of the first birds to come to Pandemonium. When they arrived they were young. We noticed that after time some of the birds had white feathers on their heads, which made them seem old. Later we learned that you can distinguish males from females by the white patches on their heads.
